EDUCATION FOR A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Offering organic design education expertise to educational institutions, startups and other organizations for over 20 years. The teams I have helped innovate new ideas and processes to transition to a circular economy have consistently received international awards, and recognition on sustainability and social impact achievement. I bring to my studios a diverse knowledge of personal and business management skills and the ability to provide leadership and a large network of collaborators. All of this is anchored to my unique and rich background of professional experience and my deep belief in our collective potential to create thriving futures for a more sustainable world.

REIMAGINING FUTURES
Designing Studio Workshops to reimagine an inspiring future.
In the Spring of 2018, I was invited to lead re-imagining mobility studio with Ford Innovation Design Team in Palo Alto in collaboration with CCA ID Department. My role as an associate professor was to design the research, and course work plan and to co-teach the development phase of the studio where the ID students delivered concepts for a more connected world for the future. The delivery of student work was a success, and the Ford Team flew them to their headquarters to present their research.

CULTURAL RESONANCE THROUGH DESIGN
In the Spring of 2016, 2017 and 2018 I lead collaborative sustainability studios where the design students designed educational products through the engage program. In an effort to provide real client experience for my students, I initiated partnerships with The Berkeley Turkish School which I founded, as well as The Berkeley School. Through these collaborations, design students had the opportunity to co-create with real clients for activating social and environment change .
